AHL - Poet Laureate Guidelines and Application 2024 (pdf)
DownloadThe Board of America’s Hometown Laureates (otherwise known as AHL) is in the final stages of creating a 501(C) (3) nonprofit established to promote poetry, spoken word, visual and performing arts throughout the Town of Plymouth. Our goal, to enhance connection through the arts, will take the form of readings, exhibitions, and events that will educate, entertain, as well as attract visitors to Plymouth’s vibrant cultural community. Current Plymouth Poet Laureate Stephan Delbos has been an exemplary advocate for the arts since his term began in 2020. Due to limitations of the pandemic, Stephan’s term was extended until early 2024, when AHL will appoint Plymouth’s second Poet Laureate for an honorary two-year term. Stay tuned for more information on the America’s Hometown Laureates’ activities as well as how you can help or participate in our efforts to spread the word!
